Products & Services

Digital Data Systems provides services right from consultancy, programming services, custom systems building and installation to ongoing systems support. DDS will also work with existing customer suppliers in order to ensure continued smooth running of systems.

Consultancy

Digital Data Systems has extensive experience in Pre-Press desktop and server solutions for Mac and PC. DDS can give opinion on existing networks or if the situation dictates, designing a completely new network. DDS also supports office solutions such as Citrix Metaframe and Winframe.

Programming Services

Digital Data Systems also provides programming services. This extends to C, C++ and Java. DDS can also provide programming services in DCL (Digital Command Language) and DEC Basic. DDS has most of it's experience on Linux, Open VMS and Compaq Tru64 UNIX.

DDS Business Systems

This is the custom-building side of DDS and now consists of the AlphaPC line. Business Systems builds PC Workstations and Servers to exact customer specifications (subject to availability of parts) and usually has a three-day turn around time from order.

Technical Services

DDS has technicians who can service most popular brands of workstations and servers (PC, Mac, Alpha). We can also run data cable for small network additions, but for the larger jobs, DDS has access to specialist contractors. DDS can also co-ordinate complete Systems Room movements and new installations.
